Founder and Chief Executive Reentry Specialist JD Jones Barton

JD Jones Barton

Chief Executive Reentry Specialist (CERS)

Being born and raised in Washington state I was impacted by the justice system at a very young age often finding no accommodating resources for a new direction. While incarcerated for 18 years I felt firsthand the lack of substantial opportunities for individuals to reintegrate back into society. The criminal justice system has been fractured; the current methods and policies of handling those affected by incarceration are insufficient to ensure that individuals won't re-offend. Collaboration is needed to help redefine the structure of justice and we can do this through coordination with business leaders, government agencies, outreach programs, and other like-minded nonprofit and for-profit corporations. This will create a robust and effective reentry program by allowing stakeholders an opportunity to weigh into the solution and change the trajectory for so many lives following behind me. We are so thrilled to get this innovative program up and running to better serve the individuals who have struggled at the hands of the system. We want to break the mold for youth who have been affected such as myself by laying a road map to obtain employment-boosting credentials that can set the foundation for a brighter future. It is imperative to provide a career pathway to help build the ladder of success for others who are coming out of state facilities such as foster care, adult, and juvenile corrections. It has been my dream for years to help as a collective to make long-lasting positive changes that echo a ring louder than the Liberty Bell!

Amereo Forks

Chief Reentry Specialist of Operations (CRSO)

My name is Amereo Forks. I was born and raised in Washington state. I am a union carpenter General Foreman for GLY working mostly in the Seattle/ Bellevue area. I spend most of my time with my family and working on projects at home. I come from a single parent home myself and my two sisters. I have been told that my achievements are inspiring for someone that may have been or is in the same upbringing as I was. I find myself sharing with others a lot on what they can do to change their life path and gain control of their future, this may be because I have had inspiring people through my journey pointing me in the right direction. I do believe that people sometimes just need a little guidance and support and in a few years time they also will be sharing positive energy with someone else.

Caleb Twidwell

Reentry Specialist Celebrity Advocate

My name is Caleb Twidwell; I’m from the little town of Shelton, Washington. My life as of late has been a whirlwind of opportunity, I am continually shown that the path of sobriety and truth can carve out new meaning towards constant betterment.

I have been justice-impacted since an early age of 14. I turned my life around when I was sentenced to prison in 2013 until 2017. Upon my release, January 26th, I set my sights and goals on a newly discovered passion and ability to heal myself through the power of music and its ability to ground the person exercising it. All I am simply saying from this point forward is, like Fleetwood Mac had put it, “when the rain washes you clean, you’ll know, and you will know”. You will have to decide for yourself health, mind, and passion. Through these principles, a good life has no choice, but to follow. Our aim is to inspire those who will listen to this good old country boy and gal sing.

Through this, we aim to inspire others to do the same.
